Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
This policy explains what information Project 1600 ("we," "the Site") collects and how it is used. We have tried to keep both the policy and the data collection minimal.
1. Information we collect
Practice progress. When you answer questions, the Site records which questions you answered and whether you were correct. If you do not create an account, this is stored only in your browser (local storage) on your own device, and we never receive it.
Account information (optional). If you choose to create an account to sync your progress, we collect your email address and a password, and we store your practice progress associated with your account. We do not ask for your name, age, address, phone number, or payment information.
Basic analytics. We use privacy-focused, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic (for example, how many people visit a page). These analytics do not identify you personally.
2. How we use information
We use your progress data only to show you your own statistics and to sync them across your devices when you are signed in. We use your email only to operate your account (such as signing in and confirming your address). We do not sell your information, and we do not show third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
To run the Site we rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Hosting: the Site is hosted on a static web host, which may log standard technical information such as IP addresses for security and performance.
- Accounts and database: if accounts are enabled, your email and progress are stored with a third-party backend provider (Supabase) acting as our data processor.
These providers have their own privacy practices governing the data they process.
4. Younger users
SAT preparation is typically used by teenagers, and we take that seriously. The Site is designed to need as little personal information as possible, and an account requires only an email address. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it. If you are a minor, please get a parent's or guardian's permission before creating an account.
5. Your choices
You can use the entire Site without an account. You can clear your on-device progress at any time by clearing your browser storage. If you have an account, you can ask us to delete it and the progress associated with it by emailing the address below.
6. Data security
We use reputable providers and standard safeguards to protect account data. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
