Welcome to Project 1600 ("the Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

Project 1600 provides free, original practice questions and explanations intended to help students prepare for the SAT. The Site is an independent educational resource. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the College Board or any testing organization.

2. Educational use, no guarantee of results

The Site is provided for general study purposes. We do not guarantee any particular score, outcome, or admission result. Practice questions are original and modeled on the SAT's format; they are not official or retired test items.

3. "As is" — no warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. While we strive for correct answers and explanations, errors may occur, and you should treat official College Board materials as authoritative.

4. Accounts

Accounts are optional and exist only to save your practice progress. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You agree to provide a valid email address and not to use another person's account without permission. We may suspend or remove accounts that are misused.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) disrupt or attempt to break the Site or its security; (b) scrape or copy the content for commercial resale; (c) use the Site to violate any law; or (d) misrepresent the Site as being official or affiliated with the College Board.

6. Intellectual property

The original questions, explanations, design, and text on the Site belong to Project 1600. You may use them for your own personal study. "SAT" and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to describe the exam this resource helps you prepare for.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Project 1600 and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on any content or any loss of saved progress.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Site at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
